Recent deaths in the Leitrim area - update

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Margaret McHugh (nee Byrne)- Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim

Margaret (Peggie) McHugh (née Byrne) of Mountshannon Rd., Kilmainham, Dublin and  formerly of Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim died Peacefully, in her 100th Year after a short illness in the loving care of staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross today, Tuesday, 18th October, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fatima Church, Rialto arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.

Kristaps Smilskalns - Main St, Swanlinbar, Co Cavan

Kristaps Smilskalns, Main Street, Swanlinbar, Cavan and formerly Latvia, age 25, died following a road traffic accident. Remains reposing at Saint Mary's Hall, Swanlinbar, today Tuesday 18th from 3pm until removal at 6.30pm to arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar, at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Lakeland Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Frankie Maguire - Derrintovey, Dowra, Co Leitrim

Frankie Maguire, Derrintovey, Dowra, Leitrim died at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Fowley's Funeral Home, Dromahair on Wednesday, October 19 from 6 -8pm. Full funeral arrangements to be announced later. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.
