Recent deaths in the Leitrim area

The following deaths have occurred in the area:

Johnny Brirne No. 1, Marian Road, Boyle, Roscommon
The death has taken place of Johnny Beirne (former postman), No 1, Marian Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, on 24th October 2016, peacefully, in the loving care of the doctors and nursing staff of Roscommon County Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maura, his children Alan, Ann, John, Yvonne (Battles), Austin and Kenneth. Predeceased by his son David, his sisters Mary, Philomena and Sarah. Sadly missed by his sisters Bridgie and Winnie and his brothers Terry, Pat and Michael.

Reposing at Mahon's Funeral Home Boyle Wednesday the 26th from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, arriving to St Joseph's Church, Boyle at 7pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 27th at 11am and burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. House private at all times. Further enquiries to Higgins and Sons Funeral Directors, Boyle, Co Roscommon.

Patrick Shanley, Corderry, Killargue, Leitrim / Drumshanbo, Leitrim
Formerly of Derryinaseer, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. Reposing at his home at Corderry on Wednesday from 12 noon to 5pm. House private thereafter. Removal on Wednesday to St. Brigid’s Church, Killargue arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Killargue New Cemetery.

Anne Caulfield - Sligo and Kiltyclogher, Co Leitrim

Anne Caulfield (née Cullen), Dunally, Co. Sligo and formerly Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim peacefully at the Oncology Unit, Sligo University Hospital on Sunday, 23rd October. Removal from her home on Wednesday at 10.30am to St Joseph's Church, Ballytivnan to arrive for Mass of Christian burial at 11am. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. 

See at 11 am and 4pm each day for local deaths.
