Recent deaths in the Leitrim area - update

The following deaths have occurred in the local area:

Eileen Duffy (née Staunton), Kilcorby, Belturbet, Co Cavan

Eileen Duffy (nee Staunton), Kilcorby, Belturbet, Co Cavan, October 27, 2016, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son David. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Pat, son Richard, daughters Rosaleen and Caroline, grandchildren, sons-in-law John and Rodney, daughter-in-law Patricia, bothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Remains will be reposing at her residence from 6pm this evening (Thursday) until 10pm tonight and from 4pm tomorrow (Friday) until 10pm. House private at all other times please. Remains will be removed from her residence on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Staghall for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

John Martin Connor, Aughadangan, Strokestown, Co Roscommon

Peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at Inis Ree Lodge Nursing Home, Ballyleague, and in his 90th year on Wednesday, October 26. Beloved husband of Bridie and much loved father of Mary, John, Dorothy, Eileen, Margaret, Olive, Roger, Alice and Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister Mary [U.S.A], brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Friday, October 28 from 5.30pm until 8pm, followed by removal to Carniska Church. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 29 at 11am, with burial afterwards in Lissonuffy Cemetery.

Terence (Teddy) McShea Tullyhouse, Tully, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal

Terence (Teddy) McShea, Tullyhouse, Tully, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, on Tuesday, October 25, peacefully at the family home surrounded by his beloved wife Anne and family. Reposing at the family home today, Thursday, from 11am until 10pm, with removal at 10.15am on Friday to St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for 11am Requiem Mass followed by Interment in Abbey Cemetery. Very deeply regretted by his beloved wife Anne and family, Roisin (Edmund) London, Geraldine and the late (Rick O'Mahoney) Dublin, Kieran (Cathy) and the late baby Ciara, Stranorlar, Terence (Mary) Ballyshannon, Patricia (Patrick) Askill, Joseph (Eileen) Belleek, Eamon (Hetty) Dublin, Therese (Gary) London, Andrew (Carol) Ballyshannon, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and entire family circle.

May they rest in peace.
