Recent deaths in Tipperary, Friday October 14

The following deaths have been reported in the Leitrim area.

Rose Curnan (née Collum), Drumcroman, Coraleehan, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

Peacefully, at Ballinamore Nursing Home on November 4. Predeceased by her husband Jack and son John. Deeply regretted by her daughters Joanne, Rosemarie, and Grainne, sons, Pat and Joseph, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, Kathleen Maguire (Luton) relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Reposing at her daughter Joanne's home (Drumcroman) from 6.00pm on Friday, 4th November. Removal on Saturday, at 6pm to St Brigid's Church, Coraleehan. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm followed by Burial in adjoining cemetery.


Terence McIntyre, Kilnavart, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan

November 3, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Loving husband of Teresa. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence today from 2-10pm and Saturday from 11-4pm. Family only at all other times. Removal on Saturday evening arriving at St Patrick's church, Kilnavart at 7pm. Funeral mass on Sunday at 9:30am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.


Ellen (Evelyn) Gallagher (née McCabe), Lismacaffrey, Co Westmeath/Co Leitrim

October  23, 2016, (Wimbledon and formerly of Lismacaffrey, Co. Westmeath) (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family at Peregrine House Nursing Home, Yorkshire, beloved wife of the Late John (Formerly of Co. Leitrim); sadly missed by her loving family, her son John and daughter Josephine, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandsons, brother and sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Rd, Coolock on Sunday, November 6, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Monday morning, November 7, to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.


Seán Neary, Clooncullane, Strokestown, Co Roscommon / Elphin, Co Roscommon

Peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 2nd, surrounded by his loving and adored family, following a brief illness fought bravely. In his ninety-first year. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Burke) and father of John, Elaine, Dermot, Coman and Brendan. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, daughters-in-law Joan, Anne and Kelly, son-in-law Sean, grandchildren David, Brian, Colm, Eoin, Eleanor and Catherine, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin, Friday (4th November) from 4.30pm with Removal at 7pm to St. Patrick's Church, Elphin. Funeral Mass on Saturday (November 5th) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice c/o Cathal or Mary Brady, Funeral Directors.


Dorothy Jennings, Riverside House, The Copse, Boyle, Co Roscommon

The death has occurred of Dorothy Jennings, Riverside House, The Copse, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, at her home, on Thursday, November 3. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John. Reposing at her residence from 2pm to 7.30pm on Friday 4th of November. Arriving for Funeral Mass on Saturday 5th at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Boyle, with burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. House private on Saturday morning, please. Further enquiries to Higgins and Sons Funeral Directors, Boyle and Ballinameen.
