The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:
Mervyn Regan, Nure, Lurganboy, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim
Peacefully, at North West Hospice Sligo. Sadly missed by his family, neighbours and friends. Remains resting at his home today, Monday from 12 noon until 7pm with removal to the Chapel of Ease, Lurganboy, to arrive at 8pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday at 2pm followed by burial in Drumcliff Churchyard Sligo.
Olive Dobson (née Keegan), Drumhanny House, Mohill, Co Leitrim
In her 93rd year, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Arus Carolan Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Norman and son William. Deeply regretted by her sons George and David, daughter Hazel, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing today Monday (7th of November), at her residence, Drumhanny House, from 10am until 8pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday (8th November) at 3pm in St. Mary's Church of Ireland, Mohill, with burial in local cemetery. Family time Tuesday morning, please.
Annie Gordon-Gilleran (née Egan), Manor, Tulsk, Roscommon / Strokestown, Co Roscommon
Formerly of Bunnamucka, Strokestown. Peacefully at Roscommon County Hospital and previously in the loving care of all the staff at St. Eithne's Rest Care Home, Tulsk. Beloved wife of Jimmy and predeceased by her husband Thomas Gilleran. Loving mother of Michael Gilleran, Tommy Gilleran and John Francis Gilleran. She will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, grandaughters Siobhan and Collette, great-granchildren, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass on today, November 7, at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.
Ellen (Evelyn) Gallagher (née McCabe), Lismacaffrey, Co Westmeath/Co Leitrim
October 23, 2016, (Wimbledon and formerly of Lismacaffrey, Co. Westmeath) (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family at Peregrine House Nursing Home, Yorkshire, beloved wife of the Late John (Formerly of Co. Leitrim); sadly missed by her loving family, her son John and daughter Josephine, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandsons, brother and sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Removal on Monday morning, November 7, to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
