Recent deaths in the Leitrim area - updated

The following deaths have been reported in the Leitrim area:

Molly Croghan-Lane (née Beirne), Curcreigh, Elphin, Roscommon

Peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at Roscommon, Co. Hospital. Beloved wife of Michael John and predeceased by her husband Jimmy Lane, Knockvicar, Boyle. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, sister Bridie (Devanney), brother Willie, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown on Saturday, November 12th, from 4pm until 6pm followed by removal to St. Catherine's Church, Killina to arrive at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, November 14th, at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Killina Cemetery. House private please.

John McPartlan, No. 9 Derrinavoggy, Arigna, Roscommon

Peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family and in the loving care of the staff of St. Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Predeceased by his sister Mary, brother Michael and sister-in-law Mary.

Sadly missed by his loving nieces Margaret, Breedge, Martina, Kathleen, Mary-Teresa and Pauline, nephews Jim, Michael-Joseph, Seán and Kevin and their families, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Reposing at his home in Arigna until 5.00 o’clock on Friday evening. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Arigna arriving 6.30 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 11.30 o’clock. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Aine (Nancy) Callaly (née Sharkey), Ardmore, Croghan, Boyle, Roscommon / Ballyhaunis, Mayo

And late of Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. Peacefully at Abbey Haven Nursing home Boyle. Pre-deceased by her late husband Pat. Deeply regretted by her Sister in law,Nieces and Nephews ,Neighbours and Friends. Funeral Mass on Saturday the 12th November at 12 noon with burial afterwards to Eastersnow Cemetery.
