Recent deaths in the Leitrim area

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:

Leonard Egan, Castleplunket/ Boyle, Co Roscommon

Leonard Egan, Mullygallon, Castleplunkett, Castlerea and formerly of Boyle, Co Roscommon died on Sunday, November 13 at the residence of his son Frank. Funeral Mass today Thursday, November 17, at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Toberelva Cemetery.

Sheila Candon (nee Smith), Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co Roscommon

Sheila Candon died peacefully, at the Plunkett Home, Boyle. Reposing Mahon's Funeral Home, Boyle this evening Thursday 17th from 4.30pm until 6.30pm arriving 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning 18th at 11am. Burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. ​House private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu Mayo/Roscommon Hospice c/o Mahon's Funeral Directors, Boyle.

Sean Fitzpatrick, Main St, Killeshandra, Co Cavan

Sean Fitzpatrick (Publican), Main St. Killeshandra, Co. Cavan died today, November 16, at his residence surrounded by his family. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, Patricia, sons Dermot and Declan, daughter Pauline, brothers Michael, Seamus and Philip, daughter -in-law Ann, Shane and Susie (partners of Pauline and Declan respectively), sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home today, Thursday, 17th from 12 noon until 10pm. (House private at all other times). Removal on Friday 18th at 10.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Rose Dolan (née Donnelly) Cloonfree, Strokestown, Co Roscommon / Louisburgh, Co Mayo

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of all the staff at the Co. Hospital, Roscommon. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown today Thursday17th, from 5pm. Removal at 8pm to the Parish Church. Funeral Mass on Friday, November 18, at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
