Your old glasses can provide life changing help for people in the Philippines who suffer from poor vision and cannot afford the glasses they need.
In the weeks before Christmas, Louise Huston is collecting glasses on behalf of the charity “Love in Action Philippines”.
There are now collection boxes with local businesses in Mohill (Paul's Newsagents, Baxter's Centra, and Mohill Garden Centre), Cloone (O’Higgins Shop), Drumsna (Duignan’s Shop) and Carrick-on-Shannon (Kennedy's Topaz).
All glasses donations are gratefully appreciated.
