Leitrim deaths - December 1, 2016 - Evening update

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:  

Elizabeth Lavin, Termon Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon

Peacefully at the Plunket Home, Boyle on Monday, November 28, 2016. Sadly missed by her family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Mahon's Funeral Home, Boyle. Removal Saturday morning to St.Joseph's Church, Boyle for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards to Assylynn Cemetery. 


Mary (Baby) Cox, Clooneen, Bornacoola, Co Longford / Bornacoola, Co Leitrim

Mary (Baby) Cox, Clooneen, Bornacoola, Co Longford, November 29, 2016 at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Deeply regretted by her nephew, Martin Harkin and niece, Kay Farrell, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Rooskey today,  Thursday, December 1 from 4.30pm followed by removal to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Bornacoola at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, December 2 at 11am with burial afterwards in Cloonmorris Cemetery.

Martin Khublall, Drumdiffer, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim

Peacefully at Harefield Hospital, Middlesex, surrounded by his loving family. Remembered with love by his wife Darina, his son Shane, his daughters Emma and Sheena, his parents David and Rena, brothers David, Moses and Tony, extended family Linda, Dave and Adam, mother-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and many great friends. House strictly private. Removal on Thursday (December 1) arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (December 2) at 11am followed by interment in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Heart Foundation. 


Darren Mitchell, London and, Loughglynn, Co Roscommon

Suddenly in London. Darren will be sadly missed by his dad, Henry and wife Mary, his sister Siobhan, nephew Jamie, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and friends. Darren will repose at the Ganley Funeral Home, Loughglynn on Saturday from 6pm until 8pm with removal to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Loughglynn arriving at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Cuiltyboe Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Pieta house, c/o Kevin Ganley Funeral Director, Loughglynn. House private please.
