Killargue's first ever Living Nativity will become a reality this Saturday night, December 10 at the local Community Centre at 6.30pm.
The Living Nativity in the north Leitrim village is the brainchild of local resident Ros Carew-Jones. Ros has been working the idea for some time and she hopes to unveil plenty of nice gentle animal surprises, etc., for everyone who comes along on Saturday night.
Ros says the Living Nativity will be “celebrating the birth of Christ” while it will “let us take you back in time” and you can “see Mary and Joseph arrive seeking shelter.”
All who attend will be invited to make a small donation to the Killargue Development Association funds and the Irish Heart Foundation.
