The annual Christmas Day swim will take place at 1.30pm (after 12 mass) at the Four Poles (the slipway at Emerald Star) in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.
The event raises much-needed funds for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, the National Council for the Blind and the Leitrim Talking Newspaper.
Swimmers are welcome to make a donation on the day and/or sponsorship cards are available from Mary O'Boyle (0719620274).
Hot beverages will be provided for all. Whether you have a quick dip or swim a few strokes - it's up to you!
Festive fancy dress is encouraged, diving/jumping into the shallow water is not!
If you don't fancy a dip yourself please tell your friends.
