Rest In Peace

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Eamon McGovern, Blacklion, Co. Cavan

Eamon McGovern, Cornaha, Blacklion, Co. Cavan and formerly of Tullyminister, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo on Saturday, 19th May, 2018. House is private at all times, please. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin on Monday for 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am, followed by Private Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only, all donations if desired to North West Hospice, c/o Vincent McGovern, Funeral Director.

Deirdre MacHale, Boyle, Co. Roscommon

The death has occurred of Deirdre MacHale, Glenoaks House, Curliew View, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formerly Abbey Heights, Boyle on Saturday, 19th of May 2018. Peacefully in the presence of her loving family in Sligo University Hospital. Beloved and deeply regretted by her father and mother Michael and Bridie, brother John and his wife Caroline, sister Maria and her partner Dave and brother Michael and his wife Vicky, her adored nieces Kate, Abby and Jessica, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Deirdre's remains will be reposing at Glenoaks House from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, 21st of May, arriving to St Joseph's Church, Boyle on Tuesday, 22nd of May, for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Brothers of Charity, Roscommon, Care of Higgins and Sons Funeral Directors, Boyle and Ballinameen or any family member. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the team of the Brothers of Charity and the staff of Sligo University Hospital for the care, support and kindness shown towards Deirdre.

Paddy Mannion, London / Strokestown, Co. Roscommon

Patrick (Paddy) Mannion, 176 Wood End Gardens, Northholt, Middlesex, London UB54QW and formerly of Bridge Street, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon on Monday, 7th May, 2018. Paddy will be sadly missed by his wife Breege, son Emmet, daughter Ailish, son-in-law Liam, grandchildren Keegan and Kaiden, relatives and his many friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Gabriel's Church, South Harrow on Thursday, 24th May, at 1pm followed by Cremation at Breakspear Crematorium at 2.30pm.
