It's official: The Yes vote has won by a landslide

One Kildare TD votes against holding abortion referendum

The national results have been confirmed as all 40 constituencies have returned official counts in Referendum 2018.
Yes votes won with 66.4% of the total poll (1,429,981 votes) while the No vote secured 33.6% of the total with 723,632.
The total electorate across the country was 3,367,556 with a national average turnout of 64.1%.
