Mr O'Boyle made the announcement in Ballinamore today, May 28 at Ballinamore Municipal Meeting when speaking about regulations around temporary signage.
Mr O'Boyle said the posters must be removed seven days from the vote, and with next Monday being a Bank Holiday the campaigners have an extra day to avoid any fines.
Mr O'Boyle said the council do allow non commercial posters for an event to be erected seven days before an event, but they must be removed seven days following the event to avoid any fine.
