Mohill gets a lift with a splash of colour

Newly painted houses in Mohill

Have you noticed something different in Mohill?

The town is undergoing a colourful renovation.
The town is expressing its colourful character with freshly painted buildings on the Main Street.
Forty-five buildings are expected to get painted this Summer, as part of a scheme to make the town more attractive.

Fourteen buildings are already enjoying their colour renewal.
The town had a colour consultant from Johnstons Paint to help achieve the best palette.
It received funding under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme and the results are amazing.
Mohill Community Network/ Tidy Towns are also out and about cleaning footpaths, highways and byways.

There are stunning floral displays on approach roads and a great community feeling as the town prepares for Tidy Town judges.
If you have some time to volunteer and help Mohill look its very best then don't hesitate to get involved.
Colm Reynolds of Reynolds Hardware Store said the Tidy Towns volunteers are the “unsung heroes of Mohill.”
