The Sligo Park Hotel is hosting the British-Irish Assembly Plenary Conference.
Up to 70 members of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly are at the Sligo Park Hotel until tomorrow as part of their 56th plenary.
This is the first time that Sligo will host the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly. Members of the assembly will be present from Sunday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 12.
The Assembly meeting was originally to take place in March but had to be cancelled because of the icy weather. The Assembly meets every six months and the last meeting took place in Liverpool.
