Deaths in Louth - Wednesday June 6th 2016

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Frank Keane, Jamestown, Co. Leitrim

The death has occurred of Frank Keane, Lisdalkey, Jamestown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on Thursday, 21st June, 2018 (peacefully) in the tender and gentle care of the staff at St. Patrick's Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel, sons Pat and Anthony, daughters Geraldine Cooke (Dublin) and Carmel Moroney (Castlebar), sons-in-law Eamonn and Henry, daughters-in-law Roisin and Catherine, grandchildren Dillon, Amy, Conall, Clara, Aaron, Diarmaid, Tara, Cathal, Ailis, Cian, Maebh and Niall, sister Phyllis McGrory (Swords, Dublin), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at St. Patrick's Hospital Chapel, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday evening from 3 o'clock until 6 o'clock with removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Jamestown arriving at 7 o'clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 12 o'clock with funeral afterwards to Jamestown Cemetery.

Anna Dodd, Boyle, Co. Roscommon / Kilglass, Co. Roscommon

Anna Dodd (nee Lavin), Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and late of Ballyrush and Kilglass (Friday, June 22nd 2018). Peacefully in Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Predeceased by her husband Vincent.Sadly missed by her daughter Margot, sons Luke, Mark, Damian and Fergus, grandchildren, Lawrence, Tim, Emmet, Eoin and Samuel, sons-in-laws Bill and Palle, daughters-in-law Roisin and Grace, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her residence, 19 Meadow Vale, Greatmeadow, Boyle on Sunday, June 24th, from 2 o'clock until 6 o'clock. Funeral arriving to St.Joseph's Church, Boyle on Monday, the 25th, for Mass of Christian burial at 1 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Ballyrush Cemetery.

Eamon Moran, Boyle, Co. Roscommon

Eamon Moran, Maple Drive, Boyle, Co. Roscommon (June 21st, 2018). Peacefully at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Sadly missed by his loving wife Maura, daughters Ann, Joan, Una, Paula and son Joseph, grandchildren, sister Kathleen Butler (Elphin) sons-in-law, brother-in-law Sonny Gallagher (Athlone) nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing Mahon's Funeral Home. Boyle Sunday evening, June 24th, 4pm until 6.30pm, Removal to St.Joseph's Church, Boyle arriving 7.o'clock. Mass of Christian burial on Monday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery.

Pauric Heslin, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim

The death has occurred of Pauric Heslin, Gurteen, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim and Benbulben View, Cregg House, Sligo, Wednesday, 20th June, 2018, peacefully in the loving care of his family, staff and friends of Cregg House. Predeceased by his father Pat and brother Michéal. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his mother Roseann, brothers Kevin and Sean, sisters Anna B, Rose and Josephine, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends at Cregg House. Mass of the Resurrection in Cregg House Chapel this morning, Saturday, at 11.00am followed by interment to Aughavas Cemetery, Co. Leitrim to arrive at approximately 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cregg House c/o McKeon’s Funeral Director’s, Cloone, Co. Leitrim.

Shane McGovern, Belturbet, Co. Cavan

Shane McGovern, Montreal, Canada and formerly The Lawn, Belturbet, Co. Cavan peacefully in Montreal surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Sean and Lucy McGovern. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Yolanda, his children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings Padraig, Veronica, Lucy and Aine and is deeply mourned by his sister Ita (Maynooth) and his relatives and friends in Ireland. Shane loved Belturbet with all his heart even though he left in the 1940s.

Patrick Conlon, Ballinameen, Boyle, Co. Roscommon

Patrick Conlon, Harrow, Middlesex, England and formerly of Ballinameen, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Died peacefully surrounded by loving family. Patrick will be sadly missed by his sons Kevin, Martin and Patrick, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandniece, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Remains will arrive at St. Attracta's Church, Ballinameen on Saturday (23rd June) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Tulsk Cemetery.
