An Garda Siochana in Carrick-on-Shannon has confirmed to the Leitrim Observer it is investigating an alleged assault that occurred in a licensed premises in Mohill on Saturday, July 21 last.
A man who was injured was removed from the scene to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.
