The plan will be launched in the Food Hub, Drumshanbo tomorrow, Monday, February 25.
The Government's North West Regional Enterprise Plan will be launched by Minister for Business Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, in Drumshanbo tomorrow (Monday, February 25).
Fine Gael Sligo Leitrim General Election candidate, Gerry Reynolds has encouraged people to attend the launch adding: "This plan is designed to support enterprise growth and job creation in the North-West region through collaborative initiatives.
“What is encouraging for the Border region is the steady decline in the unemployment rate since the start of the Regional Action Plan for Jobs. It has come down from 8.6% in 2015 to 3.8% at the end of last year. We want to ensure this trend continues so communities all across Leitrim and the border counties can benefit."
Along with Minister Humphreys, the event will also be attended by Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donohoe, TD and the Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh TD.
The launch will be held in the Food Hub premises, Drumshanbo on Monday morning.
