Funeral arrangements for Longford man David Hughes who died in Mullingar N4 collision announced

The late David Hughes, Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford.

The funeral arrangements have been announced for Longford man, David Hughes, who died in last night's tragic N4 collision near Mullingar. 

Pedestrian David was fatally injured after he was involved in a collision with a car. A post-mortem examination was carried out at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar.

The driver of the car received minor injuries and was also treated in hospital.

The late David Hughes, Teffia Park was well known throughout Longford town and he will lie in repose at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Sunday, March 3 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. 

Removal will take place on Monday, March 4 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, with interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

David will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, father Denis, mother Trisha, daughter Lily, brother Shaun, sister Lyndsay, brother-in-law Daniel, aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends. May he Rest in Peace.
