The cannabis cultivation operation contained 250 plants
Gardaí have arrested three people and seized cannabis and cannabis plants at a house at Cloonloo, Co.Sligo.
Gardaí searched a house at Cloonloo at about noon yesterday, March 9. During the course of the search they discovered a cannabis cultivation operation containing 250 plants and well as processed cannabis herb.
The drugs, subject to analysis, have a street value of in excess of €200,000.
Three people were arrested at the scene; a man and a woman in their 30s and a man in his late 20s. They are detained at Ballymote Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
