School pupil hit by car in Drumshanbo

A school pupil from Drumshanbo was hit by a car around lunchtime yesterday, Monday March 11.

Gardai say the student was hit by a car on Church Street, Drumshanbo. Gardai were alerted to the incident at 1.40pm.

The child sustained injuries and was brought by ambulance to Sligo University Hospital. The student was released last night from hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
