Leitrim Deaths

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and surrounding areas:

Margaret Fox (née McKeon), Deerpark, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Margaret Fox (nee McKeon) of Deerpark, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim peacefully at her home in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, sadly missed by her daughters Mary Cooney (Cavan), Rita Callaly (Dublin), her sons Pat (Ballyshannon), Enda (Deerpark), Kieran (Deerpark) and Pascal, her sister Philomena McGuinness (Killargue), her brother Frank McKeon (Sligo), sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.  to Funeral Mass today  Monday at 11am in St Clare's Church, Manorhamilton followed by Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice, Sligo. For anyone wishing to call to the family home a one way system will operate with entry please from the Manorhamilton/Rossinver Road and exit onto the Manorhamilton/Kinlough Road.

 
Eileen Brennan (née O'Brien), Cortober, Arva, Cavan

Eileen Brennan (née O'Brien), Cortober, Arva, Co. Cavan, Saturday 23rd March, peacefully, at her home in the care of her devoted family. Predeceased by her husband Peter and sons; Peter Oliver and Christopher. Deeply regretted by her adorning family, her daughters; Maura and Anne (Hughes), sons; Hugh, P.J, John, Gerry, Martin and Terence, daughters in law, sons in law, sister in law; Sylvia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home in Cortober on Monday 25th from 2pm to 6pm. House strictly private at all other times, please. Further funeral arrangements to follow.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Siobhan, brother Lee, sister-in-law Sarah, niece Georgia, nephew Sean, mother-in-law Eileen, father-in-law Michael, relatives and his many friends. Funeral Service in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore on Tuesday, 26th March, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Oughteragh Cemetery. House strictly private please.

Aidan Murray, Lattone, Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Holywell, Belcoo on Monday for 11 am Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim. Family flowers only; donations in lieu if desired to the Fermanagh Branch of the Parkinsons Society c/o any family member or Peter Carty Fineral Director, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh. House private.

Michael Mc Dermottroe, Felton, Boyle, Roscommon

Peacefully, at the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit, Boyle. Sadly missed by his wife Celine, son David, daughters Ann Marie Mc Hugh and Sandra Carroll, grandchildren Gerard, Emma, Liam, Cara, Mikey, Rachel and Paul, daughter-in-law Deirdre, sons-in-law Colm and John, sisters Mary Sheerin (England) and Margaret Doherty (Boyle), nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Arriving St. Joseph's Church, Boyle, on Monday for Mass of Christian burial at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. House Private on Monday morning, please.

Ann (Nan) Mulvey (née Moran), Crynstown, Knockvicar, Roscommon

Ann (Nan) Mulvey nee Moran, Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle and late of Cryanstown, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. March 22nd 2019. Suddenly at Sligo University Hospital. Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Nora, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Monday afternoon from 1.30pm with removal at 2.30pm to arrive St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna, for Mass of Christian Burial at 3pm. Interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery.
