Drumkeerin Garda Station goes under the hammer this week

Former Drumkeerin Garda Station

Drumkeerin's former Garda Station goes under the hammer at a public auction this Thursday, February 10.

The building includes the semi-detached former Garda station and semi-detached 3 bed living quarters with a guide price of €120,000.

The auction will be held at 3pm and is online by Sligo and Manorhamilton-based DM Auctioneers on behalf of the Office of Public Works (OPW).

This property has the potential to be two 3 bedroom semi-detached townhouses located within the village of Drumkeerin on circa 0.1012 ha (c. 0.25 of an acre). There is a large yard to the rear with two semi-detached garages and the properties have their own access from the public road at the front but access to the rear is shared via a side entrance off the Dowra Road.

It is expected that the property will sell above the initial asking price. Both sales are Stamp Duty exempt.
