Leitrim has at long last public access to the sea at Tullaghan.
Kinlough councillor Justin Warnock announced the public walkway to the sea opened just before Christmas on December 21.
Cllr Warnock stated, "It has taken many years since I first brought this matter to the attention of Leitrim County Council. Working with myself and the Tullaghan Development Association, the Council have delivered, just in time for the Christmas break. So get out and enjoy this wonderful amenity. Thanks to Kerrigan Quarries for the excellent work carried out to date."
