The first Kinlough Peoples Market is set to launch on September 30 at Wild Atlantic Crusades and will run on the last Sunday of every month thereafter from 11am-4pm.
The market is being launched by brothers Lorcan and Elliot Kearns who own a local Blindfold Driving Activity centre and Camper Conversion company in the area.
In speaking about the venture Elliot states, "We are undertaking the market to give something back to the local community and surrounding areas. We have an abundance of talent in the North Leitrim area and we are hoping to showcase some of that on the day. You will be able to buy organic fruit and veg on the day and source plastic free products for your home, while dining on some of the tastiest local produce."
The market promises to be a culinary delight with burritos, Maltese savouries, curries and much more. There is even something for the children to visit with a fairy resort happening in the local forestry. The market itself is indoors so will not be affected by the weather.
The market will run 11am-4pm on September 30. For further details contact 0851153668, check out the Facebook page Kinlough Peoples Market or email info.kinloughpeoplesmarket@ gmail.com
