In the Irish youths competition of 74 players playing in the Irish Grand Prix, Charlie McDermott made the quarter final stage which leaves him currently ranked as Ireland’s number one with two competitions played and eight remaining.
Ray Mulvey was in Leicester last weekend for PDC Challenge Tour Events 11-15. His best results were reaching the board final in events 11 and 14, losing out to some big averages and gaining valuable experience along the way.
Our third county trials will take place on Sunday June 16, in the Barrel Store. This is a double points event and will be played in a sets and leg’s format.
We have also decided to run a shield event for anyone going out in the last 32 or before, with ranking points for the last four in the Shield.
This guarantees all players a minimum of two games. Entries are €10, boards open 12pm, games away 2pm.
