Safeguarding 3 online

Every club/ organisation should designate a person to be responsible for dealing with any concerns about the protection of children. The Designated Liaison Person is responsible for reporting allegations or suspicions of child abuse to TULSA Child and Family Agency or Social Services (NI) and/or An Garda Siochána / PSNI. It is recommended that this person is a senior club person. However, if there is difficulty identifying a separate individual to take this role, the Club Children’s Officer can be appointed as Designated Liaison Person once the club/ organisation is clear about the responsibilities of each role. The organisation’s child protection policy and procedures should include the name and contact details of the Designated Liaison Person and the responsibilities attached to the role. The training will take place online via zoom from 7pm-10pm on March 29. To book your place on this course, please go to

Girls Active programme in Carrigallen

Girls Active is a fun, social physical activity program for teenage girls where they get the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of physical activities including dance, sports, games & activities.

Our Boccia programme started in February in Ballinamore and Aughavas. Boccia is an easy social activity which is great fun and weirdly addictive! The idea of the Boccia game is simple. One side has six red balls and the other six blue balls. The aim is to get your balls closer to the white target ball, the 'jack', than your opponent. If you want to come along or know of anyone who would like to come along, please get in touch.

Leitrim GAA Volunteer Support
