Our AGM last Thursday night in Jackies in Ballinamore was reasonably well attended with some progress made.

Following Chairman’s Conors address our Tres Christy gave a well presented and detailed account of our finances which under his astute managment were shown to be in a healthy state. The present board, following a request from the floor, agreed to stay on in a supervisory capacity until after the Intercountys in Ennis in early February and agreed provided some progress was made in slecting the new board on the night. I am glad to report that Ciaran Hearty is Secretary elect) Kathryn McTeauge Treasurer elect & E McDermott Junior equipment manager, best of luck to all.

The meeting then decided to go ahead with two seeded round robin trials, the first in Drumcura City on Sunday, November 25, where we also intend to complete the selection of the board on this date, the second trial will be held in the Blue Devon on Sundady, December 9.

Good to see some of our players competing in & making progress in competitions outside the county Eugune jnr winning a heat of the Ship Inn (Sligo) 8 nighter & Ray reaching the S/F final of the Goalpost (Arva) double in double out competitions.
