breeder in Birmingham

Billy Twomey and Ardcollum Duke were victorious in the Speed Horse of the Year competion last weekend in Birmingham.
There was local success at last weekend’s Horse Show of the Year in Birmingham when Billy Twomey emerged victorious in the Speed Horse of the Year competition with Ardcollum Duke.

There was local success at last weekend’s Horse Show of the Year in Birmingham when Billy Twomey emerged victorious in the Speed Horse of the Year competition with Ardcollum Duke.

Ardcollum Duke is based in the UK with Billy Twomey but the stallion has connections much closer to home as he was bred and is owned by Joe Flynn from Arigna.

In the speed class at Birmingham, Twomey and Ardcollum Duke emerged victorious from Britain’s John Whitaker and Lord of Arabia by less than a second to claim the first prize of €4,000. Ardcollum Duke is by the Sire Gypsy Duke and the Dam is Dangerous Lady, who is by the legendary Clover Hill.
