Successful 5 mile brings competition to an end

Last Sunday’s Last Turkey in the Shop 5 mile brought the road running season to an end with some good performances from club members.

Clive Glancy was Carrick AC’s top performer in third place in a time of 28:33, a good performance in his first race since the Dublin Marathon. Keelan McGinn finished 17th in a time of 35:40 with Geraldine McWeeney 22nd in 38:51. Donal Harney was 28th in 40:36, Joseph McWeeney 30th in 41:16 with Cliona Ward 31st in 41:32 and Irene Beirne 45th in 47:49.

Well done to the organising committee headed by Chris Callaghan and Graham Allen.

Training for Primary School children takes a break after next Tuesday’s session on December 17, more details at training.
