The Seán McDermott Boxing Club will reopen for the forthcoming 2014/’15 season on this coming Monday night, September 1 in the Boxing Hall on the second floor of Manorhamilton’s Bee Park Community Centre.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays training is strictly for Over 11year olds and will be on from 6pm to 7.30pm with a charge of €2 per session.

An adult fitness class will follow on those nights from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at a cost of €5 per session.

Junior (under 11 year olds) training will continue to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Membership forms must be completed on the first week that the Club is back and the Club would ask all parents to ensure that forms are filled out and returned as quickly as possible.

The Seán McDermott Boxing Club membership fee is €10 per year per person. For our insurance obligations and cover anyone who trains must be signed up Club members from the start.

The Club officials and coaches can’t wait to get started back and all are hoping to match, if not beat, last year’s medal haul in the coming season.

Meanwhile the Club is looking forward to seeing its members all back training from Monday night on and hopefully some new faces too.

Meantime the Boxing Club is asking the public to please support its car wash fundraising event that will take place at Manorhamilton Fire Station on this Saturday, August 30 as well as the Club’s annual walk, which is scheduled for September.
