Last Saturday was the last big outing of the year as Anne Lyons hosted a very enjoyable Lady Presidents Day.

The rain thankfully held off for most of the play and there was a very close battle at the top of the leaderboard battle between the two All Ireland finalists, Brid Sullivan and Breda Travers.

When the scores were in, they were both level on 70 but Breda took the title with a better back 9. Later that evening the ladies enjoyed a lovely meal and enjoyable entertainment in the clubhouse where the prizes for the day were presented. The winners as follows: 1st Breda Travers, 2nd Brid Sullivan; Gross Mary Ryan Leddy; 3rd Evelyn Smith, Back 9 Maureen Dolphin; Front 9 Patricia Bohan; Category 30-36 Noreen Lynam; Category 20-29 Sheila Cooney; Mens 9 Hole 1st John Joe Holohan; 2nd Michael Moran.
