Last weekend, the Leitrim Darts Organisation hosted the West Coast Challenge and the committee can take a well earned bow on a job well done with hundreds of players representing eight counties in Youths, Ladies, & Mens team competitions on Saturday.

The challenge, along with the Leitrim Open Singles on Sunday, all went off without a hitch with visiting officials and players full of praise for the running of events.

The LDO would like to thank Graham McDermott & Ciaran Fanning for their help in setting up all the equipment, starting at 4am on Saturday morning and thanks to National Secretary Ann McGowan & Ann Sheridan for their help at the front desk on Saturday.

Special thanks to Mr Darts Tony Hickey for the supply of the 17 dartboards used on the day and to our main sponsors, the Bush Hotel & Guinness.

There were 17 stands in operation, all sponsored by the following: Jackies Bar, Poor Scholar, Drino, Swan Bar, Dunnes Bar, Tesco Ballinamore, M.C. decorating services, Cowboys & Heros country festival, Quality beds Longford, Lyric Pool Tables, Wrynn’s mini-bus & taxi, Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant, Healy & Martin Accountants, Sign Warehouse, Ballinamore Darts, Lynch’s Wallpaper & Paints, please support.

Finally well done to all the callers & chalkers.
