Four Connacht
medals for Mohill & District AC athletes

Mohill & District AC members had gold medal winners in Dearbhaile Beirne (U17 walk) and Alannah McGuinness (U13 60m) in Athlone last weekend.
Congrats to Alanah McGuinness who came first in U13 60m sprint, Eoin Gaffey who took first in 1k Race-walk and Dearbhaile Beirne who also took gold in U17 years 1500m Racewalk and Bronze in 200m sprint in the Connacht Indoors which was held in AIT at the weekend.

Ellen McGuinness came 4th in under 12 Shot and was unfortunate not to take a medal.

Also taking part for the first time were Genevieve and Conor Canning, Sarah and Matthew Murphy, Aongus McCrann, Laura Casey, Bella Rowley, Conor Macklin and Keoghan Curran.

Connacht Schools Cross Country: Dearbhaile & Keith Beirne both represented Mohill Community College in Sligo last week, Dearbhaile took part in the Intermediate race and ran 3k & Keith was ran in the Senior Boys Race.

Training: continues on Monday evenings from 6 - 7 pm and Friday evenings 5 - 6 pm at the grounds of Marian College.
