‘Front Runner – Racing Club for Kids’ gives children an insight into racing in a fun and interactive way.

Scruffy Duffy is here again with all his fun and games. Free Ice Cream and Goodie Bags for all the kids.

For the the Adults and exciting 7 card National Hunt Meeting kicks off at 2:25 featuring Petstop Maiden Hurdle, The Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Mares Novice Hurdle, The Guinness Opportunity Handicap Hurdle

Commenting on Family Day, Kathryn Foley Racecourse Manager said “We are looking forward to a large turnout for this meeting. It’s holiday time for the kids and what better way then spending a Summer Sunday afternoon at Sligo Races. We welcome all visitors to Sligo Races and hope they enjoy their day with us.

Gates open at 12 noon with free parking in the centre of track. Have a family lunch in Molly’s Restuarant, enjoy music in the bar after the races

There will is also a special Family Package for two2 adults with children €25 and all activities for children are free. Admisson is Adults €15, Senior Citizens & Students €10 and Special Group Rates available for 10 or more.
