Well done to all North Leitrim AC athletes who competed in the North Leitrim Glens half marathon and 10k races on Saturday in Manorhamilton.

Congratulations to Liam Feely Lurganboy who won half marathon for the third year in a row in a record time of 1:14. Well done also on their finishing times to Trevor McDaid Dromahair (1:36) and Paddy Croal Manorhamilton (1:47). We also had a number of members participating in the 10k event including Joe Giblin Killargue (46:19) and Ann Mulvaney Rossinver.

Imelda McDaid Dromahair was second in the O40 section of the Calry 5k road race which also took place on Saturday. A number of juveniles from the Club also won medals at the Calry event’s children’s races. Well done to all.

North Leitrim AC training for juveniles continues every Monday between 7pm to 8pm at St. Clare’s Comprehensive School. New members are welcome, just come along any Monday evening.
