Three of the eight heats have now taken place with players from six different counties taking part and three Sligo representatives through to the Final.

Last Tuesday night saw another excellent night of darts with 27 players and yet another Sligo man Michael Healy winning.
Tuesday was the first night we introduced a fifth board to keep things moving and with yet another good turnout, the prize fund is gathering up nicely, now exceeding €1000.

On the night Michael had to win out five matches to win the heat, beating fellow Paul Boyle in the semi final, coming from 2-0 down.
On the other side of the draw, Colm Mulvey took down three of the more fancied players en route to the final in Liam Aldridge, Ray Mulvey & Stephen Dooney.

It wasn’t to be for Colm however as Michael got the better of him in the final. Well done to all players and we hope to see you there again next Tuesday night.
