Leitrim area traffic

Traffic conditions this morning in the Leitrim area:

N16: There will be a traffic management system in place on the N16 Sligo/ Enniskillen Rd at Castlegal Bridge, Glencar for several weeks. Delays are expected.

A reduced speed limit of 60kmph is in place for ongoing works on the N16 Sligo/ Enniskillen Rd between Manorhamilton and Glenfarne village until at least Nov.

N4 Carrick-on-Shannon: Dry road conditions around Carrick-on-Shannon. Traffic is expected to be slow but flowing in Carrick-on-Shannon this morning especially for traffic coming from the Sligo direction.

Dublin Road roundabout, Carrick-on-Shannon: Some hold ups will occur for traffic travelling from the Dulblin roundabout down Main St due to school dropoffs between 9am and 9.30am. Proceed with caution and keep an eye out for children crossing in this area.

Other areas:

Cavan: Works will take place on the N87 Enniskillen/ Ballinamore Rd near Swanlibar at Drumconra Bridge, Cladagh Bridge and Borim Bridge until Wed 28th Sept.

Longford: Works will take place on the N63 Longford/ Roscommon Rd between Longford and Lanesborough until later today. Be aware of delays.

Roscommon: The N61 Boyle/ Roscommon Rd is closed in parts between Boyle and Tulsk until early November. Diversions via Frenchpark and local access will be maintained.

Sligo: A stop/go system is in place for works on the N15 Sligo/ Ballyshannon Rd at Cartronmore Bridge in Drumcliffe until further notice. Delays can be expected. 

Works will take place on the N17 Sligo/ Galway Rd between Ballynacarrow North and Cloonacurra until approx. Mon 26th Sept. Traffic management will be in place. Expect major delays.

O'Connell St, Sligo will be closed to traffic from Mon Sept 5th until Wed Nov 30th daily. A traffic management plan will be in place.

There is a traffic management system in place on Finisklin Rd from Sept 5th for several weeks. Parking is prohibited on the Hanley's Yard side of Finisklin Rd between Pirnmill Rd and the Railway Bridge.
