Recent deaths in the Leitrim Area

The following deaths have occurred:

Florence Connolly - 5 Tarmon Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon

Florence Connolly, 5 Tarmon Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon who passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 17. Predeceased by her husband Thomas. Deeply regretted by her loving children; Gerard, Patrica (Pat), Thomas, Florence, Patrick (Patsy), Bernie, Edel, David and Mary Theresa, relatives and friends. Reposing at Mahon's Funeral Home, Boyle, on today, September 18, from 4pm to 6.30pm, arriving to St. Joseph's Church, Boyle, at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am, with burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle. 

James McEnroy - Cork/Leitrim

On Saturday, September 17, surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital, James, beloved husband of Noreen, loving father of Lorraine and Michelle and brother of the late Christine. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren, sister Mary, brother William, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge , Cork. Removal on Monday, September 19 at 7pm to the Church of the Way of the Cross, Togher. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, September 20 at 11am, funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium.

Gerardine ( Ged) Dobson (née O'Donovan Reid) - Meenaphuill, Glencar, Co Leitrim

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital on Saturday, September 17. Much loved wife of the late John. Sorely missed by son Bill, daughter-in-law Barbara, grandchildren Catherine, Hannah, John and his wife Sarah, and Padraig, sisters Maura and Tony, niece and nephews and a wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the The Foley and McGowan funeral home, Market Yard, Sligo today, September 18 from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to St. Osnat's Church, Glencar. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 19 at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Diffreen cemetery, Glencar.
