PICTURES: Elected Leitrim Council members rejoice as nail-biting race ends after long-haul count

The 2024 Leitrim Local Election came to a close at the count centre at the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon after a marathon 15-hour count. The final councillor to be elected was Roisin Kenny, Sinn Fein, announced at close to 5am this Sunday morning.
