The last known movements of missing Aughavas resident, 48-year-old Patrick Heeran, are set to be the focus of a special re-enactment on an upcoming edition of RTE’s Crimecall programme.
Carrick District Superintendent, Noel Carolan, told the Leitrim Observer that the re-enactment is just one of avenues gardai are pursuing in their investigation into the disappearance of Mr Heeran early last month.
Mr Heeran’s family has made public appeals for assistance from the public and while, initially, a number of people came forward to assist with determining Mr Heeran’s last known movements,
Superintendent Carolan acknowledged that there had been no firm sightings since October 3.
“While Mr Heeran has been known to be away from his home for a day or two he has never been away so long without any contact with his family,” he told our reporter.
“He has simply vanished, it’s as dramatic as that.”
He renewed his appeal for anyone who may have seen Mr Heeran or who may have information on his current whereabouts to contact gardai immediately.
Mr Heeran is described as being 5’9’’ in height and of stocky build.
Anyone who may have seen Patrick or who can assist the Garda in locating him is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station on 071-9650510, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
