The 18th Lough Rynn Harvest Festival & Vintage takes place on Sunday September 2nd and is returning to its spiritual home of Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens. The annual festival which is organised by Bornacoola Development Association was officially launched today along with the programme of activities for the festival.
Vintage enthusiasts, crafts lovers and country music fans all have something to look forward to this September 2nd.
The annual vintage display will feature cars motorbikes and agricultural machinery, there will be a threshing display as well as a series of craft stands and demonstrations. There is also a wide range of entertainment for people of all ages and taste’s with country legend TR Dallas, Street Theatre, Hot Air Balloon demonstration, Helicopter rides, Shuttle Bus simulator and much much more.
As part of the festival’s return to the Lough Rynn Castle Estate, added features this year include guided tours of the Lough Rynn walled gardens, BBQ Pig and full bar facilities. Admission is €10 per adult, €5 for Students and children under the age of 12 are FREE.
Speaking at the official launch of the 2012 Lough Rynn Harvest Festival & Vintage Day, Festival Chairman John McGuinness said, “We are thrilled to be back in the Lough Rynn Castle Estate for the festival and we would like to thank the Management and staff at Lough Rynn Castle Hotel for been so accommodating.
“The setting of Lough Rynn adds so much to the festival itself and we are sure that our return ‘home’ will add an extra dimension for all those who plan to attend on Sunday 2nd September.
“This year’s festival line up aims to provide an interesting and fun day for all the family and we believe our ticket prices provide real value for a family looking to spend a day together enjoying the best of vintage, arts & crafts as well as music and entertainment.”
