Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have information in relation to two incidents which took place in the south of the county recently.
A number of individuals approached an unoccupied house in an estate in Attirory on the outskirts of Carrick-on-Shannon on the evening of Thursday last, January 17th at 4.55pm before fleeing the scene after they were startled by a neighbour who spotted their flashlights.
Gardai in the area are also searching for anyone who may be able to assist them in their enquiries in relation to a tractor which was stolen from the Drumshanbo area at approximately 8pm on Monday evening last. The Massey Ferguson, which is valued at €70,000 was recovered at a disused factory in the Attirory area yesterday morning. The tractor had a front loader attached.
