Some of Ireland’s best known and most gifted musicians, singers and dancers will feature in a special SKY TV programme on Thursday, August 15 at 9pm.
The programme will be produced and filmed by IRISH TV at the internationally renowned O’Carolan Harp Festival in Keadue which takes place this August Bank Holiday weekend. The programme will shine a spotlight on the picturesque north Roscommon village, its rich harp heritage and the vibrant community spirit that keeps the festival alive and well each year.
“I have visited every corner of Ireland filming over the past year and Keadue is right up there at the very top. From the minute you arrive in the village there is a ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ for everyone and the beauty and tranquillity of the village will stay with me for a long time,” commented IRISH TV presenter Pierce O’Reilly.
The entire show can be viewed on Sky TV channel 191 or on Freesat 400 on August 15 at 9pm and will be repeated again the following Sunday at 7pm and Monday night at 6pm.
