Cllr Enda Stenson has raised concern about the new Junior Cycle framework due to begin this September.
Cllr Stenson said there is a “lack of information” about the new programme and there “has not been enough consultation with teachers” about how the reform will work. He is concerned that teachers will be grading student’s exams instead of a state assessment. He said there needs to be some external moderation mechanism to compare grades across schools.
