Longford Summer Festival returns on July 3-5 with three great nights of live entertainment and then a full family focused and packed programme of events this weekend.
One of the highlights will be the extensive Food Fair and Artisan Area at the old army barracks in the heart of the town. Two of Ireland’s top chefs will give live demonstrations and top tips. Gary O’Hanlon is the head chef on The Restaurant TV show and Head Chef at Viewmount House. He’ll be showing some of the tricks of the trade and easy family dining solutions.
Louise Lennox, pastry chef is a co-star on The Restaurant. She also regularly features on radio and her recipes are also regularly featured in the RTE Guide and in Food & Wine magazine.
There will also be an extensive Home & Garden section; a Lifestyle Quarter and a Fashion District.
Enjoy the dining options and live music on throughout the day as well as workshops and talks.
Admission for the Food Fair is just €5.
