Drumshanbo native co-opted as Dublin Councillor

Drumshanbo native Padraig McLoughlin has been co-opted as a Labour Councillor on to Dublin City Council.

Drumshanbo native Padraig McLoughlin has been co-opted as a Labour Councillor on to Dublin City Council.

Mr McLoughlin from Carrick Road, Drumshanbo recently replaced Emer Costello former Lord Mayor and daughter of Joe Costello who was appointed MEP to Brussels, taking over from veteran politician Proinsias De Rossa.

Padraig has been living in Stoneybatter for some years and is very deeply involved in the Labour Party. He worked extremely hard to promote Labour at Local, National and Presidential campaigns.

Acting Principal of Drumshanbo Vocational School, Sean Wynne, staff and board members have wished their former pupil the best of luck in his new role.
