Assistance sought following Carrigallen burglaries

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are seeking the assistance of the public in relation to two burglaries in Carrigallen on Friday night/Saturday morning, August 19/20.

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are seeking the assistance of the public in relation to two burglaries in Carrigallen on Friday night/Saturday morning, August 19/20.

The burglaries occurred at a business premises in the town and a health centre. A quantity of cash and electronic equipment was taken during the incidents.

Gardai believe a car may have been used as a getaway vehicle as tyre marks were discovered at one of the scenes.

Anybody who may have noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon, (071) 9620021.

In an unrelated incident gardai are following a definite line of inquiry in relation to a burglary from an apartment in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday night last, August 19. Gardai confirmed nothing was taken from the apartment.
