Leitrim County Council will continue to engage with developers and other stakeholders in order to maximise the collection of Development Charges.
At the recent monthly Council meeting, Cllr Tony Ferguson queried t he current position with the collection of Development Charges in the County.
A spokesperson for the Council noted that “in the case of private individuals the Council are working to provide as much flexibility as possible, through the application of agreed instalment plans, to discharge the outstanding liability in a manner reflective of individual financial positions.
